Entry Level Pilates
This class is an beginner class for those new Pilates or getting back into it after a long break. This class will focus on learning the basic principles of Pilates and correct alignment.
Level 1/2 Pilates
The level 1 and 2 classes are a great progression after taking a few sessions of entry level Pilates. The pace will be slightly faster and exercises increase in intensity. A strong emphasis on posture, alignment and correct activation of muscles will always be encouraged.
Level 3/4 Pilates
The level 3 and 4 Pilates continue in difficulty from the level 1 and 2 classes. The pace of the class will increase and the level of difficulty of the exercises. The use of various equipment will be used to challenge the body in new ways. You can expect more standing exercises to further improve your function in every day life.
A Pilates rehabilitation program created by a physiotherapist and taught by a certified STOTT Pilates instructor. This class may be covered by some health plans. Please read the attached info sheet to find out about this class.
Pelvic Floor Rehab Pilates
This class is meant for women with abdominal separations, pelvic floor concerns and/or a desire for improved posture. The class will involve reviewing Pilates concepts, learning to use props to enhance your practice and a progressive increase in strength and core connection.
Myofascial Stretch & Release Class
The myofascial stretch class combines yoga posturing with the principles of myofascial release. This class is great for all ages and fitness levels to promote total body awareness, improve posture and alignment, encourage relaxation and reduce the risk of injury.
Rehab Core and Release Class
This unique rehab class will focus on stretching and release techniques as well as breathing. As the session progresses the core strengthening and posture awareness component will increase in intensity and duration. Exercise progression will be provided to suit the individual needs of each participant. This class is limited to 6 participants.
Restorative Yoga Class
This class focuses on centering your breath and physical body. Restorative Yoga is aimed to help reduce pain, tension and stress through relaxation and breathing. This class soothes the nervous system while promoting mindfulness and body awareness. Various props are used to assist in holding the gentle poses with achieving total relaxation.
Private Pilates Sessions
Private Pilates sessions are perfect if you are just getting started or if you have a few injuries and require special modifications. Our instructors will guide you through an individualized Pilates program. Private sessions are available in mat Pilates and on the reformer. Private insurance plans may cover exercise based physiotherapy including Pilates and Pilates reformer. The sessions can be offered by a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor or a Physiotherapist certified in STOTT Pilates. Please call 204-475-6940 for more details.

A combination of Pilates, standing exercises and weights in a dynamic and faster paced class.
Feel the burn in this energetic circuit style class. Spend some time at each station working a different part of the body; legs, abs, back, arms & shoulders and cardio included! This unique rehab class will focus on stretching and release techniques as well as breathing. As the session progresses the core strengthening and posture awareness component will increase in duration. Exercise will progression will be provided to suit the individual needs of the participant. The class is limited to 6 participants.
Enjoy 20 minutes of low impact cardio, 20 minutes of entry level Pilates and 20 minutes of myofascial stretch. (To get the most out of the class, at least one session of Pilates classes should be taken prior to taking a 20/20/20 class.)
Mixed Equipment Pilates Class
An intermediate level Pilates class that uses various equipment to challenge the mind and body in new ways. Some of the equipment used in the class include: mini-balls, theraband, toning balls, blocks, hand weights and stability cushions.
Fascial Fitness Class
This class will include Pilates toning mixed with Yoga stretching. Fascia – the body-wide connective tissue net - plays an essential role in a powerful, moving body. Fascial Fitness is aimed to increase fascia’s resilience, while making it stronger and more elastic throughout the body. Combining Fascial Fitness with Pilates creates a class which works the whole body!
Men's Power, Strength and Core Hour
Men, it's time to join an exercise class with no fancy choreography or dance steps. Enjoy this moderate intensity workout that combines cardio, strength and core exercise. The class is guided by kinesiologist and Pilates instructor to ensure participants have good form, while incorporating exercises based on science and not the latest exercise trends.
Gentle Yoga Class
This class is a unique style of yoga that combines mindfulness, breathing, and gentle movement to stretch and strengthen, as well as balance work. Each class will include techniques to reduce stress, calm the mind, soothe low back pain and address tension in the upper body. (To keep the flow of the class, it is important that individuals in the class are able to sit, kneel and stand with relative comfort.)
